Cairns

Cairns is the place for discovering the Great Barrier Reef but it was never a popular beach resort because the beaches  was worthless. In recent years, however ingenious pools on the boulevard constructed so that there is also great place to stay.

Things to do
There is much to do around Cairns. .In the surrounding area of Cairns you'll find the Sky Rail and the Tjapukai Aboriginal Park. You can also visit the Panorella park. Furthermore you can discover tropical rain forest of Northern Queensland.

Some well-known places in the area are  the Daintree National Park and Cape Tribulation. There are very nice day trips to the Atherlon tablelands. You can also make a visit to  the famous village of Cooktown
